Active warning systems at crossings reduces the risk of death
In 2010, an experimental project with active warning systems at crossings carried out in Uppsala. In 2011, the results have been compiled and the project shows that the use of active warning system reduces speeds, leading to increased road safety. The risk of fatality when one is hit at a crossing point decreases by 49% if it is equipped with an active warning system. Läs mer
